Úbeda and Baeza aren't big cities so you can visit them just walking. However, there are different means of transport in both cities for your comfort.

Means of transport in Úbeda and Baeza

· Bus.

Even if in Úbeda and in Baeza there aren't big distances, you can pick in both of them the municipal bus which joins the city centre with the peripheral neighbourhoods. Like this, you cannot only visit the city centre.  For more information about schedules and stops, you can visit the links below:

· Taxi.

Úbeda and Baeza, both cities have some taxi stops.

In Úbeda, there are two taxi stops, one on the Bus Station and the other on the Corredera de San Fernando Street. To book a taxi you can phone the telephone number 953792000.

· Tourist Train.

It is a good option to visit the old town of the cities of Úbeda and Baeza, the tourist train because you can go through the most narrow streets, their squares, their palaces and their walls. This is a good idea if you want to have a panoramic vision of the city: a guide will be explaining the mos important buildings, the personalities and some of the legends at the same time you are passing through.

In Úbeda. The meeting point (departure and arrival) is placed next to the Sacred Chapel of the Saviour. The itinerary lasts 35 minutes and costs 4 €. It includes a commented visit during the tour. The enterprise which offers these services is Artificis.

In Baeza. The itinerary lasts around 30 minutes and costs 4 €. It includes a commented visit during the tour. The departure point is placed in the del Agua Street corner to los Leones Square. The enterprise which offers these services is Pópulo.

· Tourist Bus.

Other option is to take the tourist bus. Thanks to its little size, you can cover the squares, small streets and most charming corners of Úbeda and Baeza. In addition to that, there is a commented visit.

In Úbeda. The itinerary lasts around 25 minutes and costs 4 €. The departure point is placed on the Vázquez de Molina Square. The enterprise which offers this services is Atlante.

In Baeza. The itinerary lasts around 30 minutes and costs 4 €. The departure point is placed on the Portales Carbonería, 4. You have also the option of a "guided visit in a tourist bus visiting the inside of some buildings". You can get more information on  La Escribanía.

However, if you want to visit the two cities you will need any mean of transport to go from one to the other because they are separated by eight kilometres.

· Bus.

There are buses quite often which do the itinerary Úbeda-Baeza and vice versa. The one way ticket costs 1,17€ and the return ticket costs 2,34 €. The enterprise which offers these services is Alsa.

· Rent a car.

In the same way, in Úbeda and in Baeza, you will rent a car because there are different enterprises devoted to this.

· Your own car

If you have decided to visit these two cities with your own car, you should know that there are public car parks, but most of the hotels have their own parking. Due to that, it is important for you to ask at your arrival.

In Úbeda, the most accessible park car to see all the old city centre is this one placed in the Andalucía Square (Telephone 953753268). There are others too that are open air and free placed on the surroundings of the wall. You can park your car in the streets, but you have to take into account that in the main streets (Corredera de San Fernando, Cristo Rey Avenue, Sagasta, Avenue la LibertadAvenue of Ramón y Cajal, Explanada) you will have to pay, let’s say, they are pay-and-display areas. But you should be careful because in the old town you couldn't park, it is forbidden.

In Baeza, the closest park car to historical city centre is this one placed in the Compañía Street (Telephone 953744674 and  from 7.30 to 23.30). As in Úbeda, Baeza has also a pay-and-display area (Paseo de la Constitución). Inside the monumental area you can park neither.

· Bicycle

Both Baeza and Ubeda, are ideal for bicycling cities. Although they have earrings and the streets are paved, bicycles of today allow shifting without too many problems. If you have a bicycle, there is bicycle lane in some areas of Úbeda. Also already enabled all the bike path that connects both cities, highly recommended if you like the world of bicycle, comfortably, you can move from one to another.
